Kirsten Welles L.Ac, RPP, CPE

Kirsten is a licensed acupuncturist and received her medical training and Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Emperor's College. She is a Registered Polarity Practitioner and Certified Polarity Educator through the American Polarity Therapy Association. Kirsten currently serves as the Director or Wellness Integration at The Askasha Center for Integrative Medicine in Santa Monica.

Kirsten's unique healing practice combines the structure of medical tradition with Polarity Therapy and the paradigm of the quantum energy field.

She is committed to helping people experience the wisdom of personal truth embodied in their symptoms and through this awareness become energetically aligned with the vision and purpose for their lives.

In her clinical practice, Kirsten has found that this dynamic creates an over-all 'organizing principle', which allows her patients’ health to be fully expressed.

As a Certified Polarity Educator, Kirsten’s other love is teaching.

Inspired by her mentor Gary B. Strauss, the founder of Polarity Healing Arts, she developed a curriculum called ‘Clinical Energetics’.

The class is designed to empower the healing relationship between the patient and practitioner in the clinical setting and is taught at Emperor’s College in Santa Monica and Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York.

Kirsten is in an on-going mentorship program with Mary Manin Morrisey and is a certified LifeMastery Consultant and teacher with Mary’s company LifeSoulutions.

Kirsten is also a student and practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism, following a trip to Tibet in 1998, Kirsten found her life deeply influenced by the Tibetan people and culture.

Kirsten has been blessed to study with the Tibetan physician Dr. Dickey Nyerongsha and has completed a three-year Dharma apprenticeship with her Tibetan spiritual teacher Anam Thubten Rinpoche.

“The secret is alignment: when you know for sure that you’re on course and doing exactly what you’re supposed to be doing, fulfilling your soul’s intention, your heart’s desire, or whatever you choose to call it (they’re all the same thing). When your life is on course with its purpose, you are your most powerful.”
